She answers the most urgent questions students need to know, delivers information about faculties, addresses, phone numbers, emails, up-coming events in University, etc. If needed she gives specific links or information about professors or departments etc.

Besides the functional side, she’s a good friend of students and can talk to them about their favorite music, food, books, and activities.

Her entire Personality is based on the University's vision, ethics and philosophy, which was incorporated into her “brain” through the process of agreement with Ilia State University and filling the “Chatbot Personality Questionnaire” developed by “Anima Chatbotics” Narrative Design Team

Created on an engine developed also by “Anima Chatbotics”.

She is constantly updated based on Chat-Logs and the needs of Ilia State University while simultaneously always being available and helping thousands of students every week.

Cyber Galaktioni

Cyber Galaktioni is the First Georgian chatbot ever. After a lot of independent experiments and drafts, the creation of chatbot & our own platform was financed by the Ministry of Culture of Georgia as a part of the “Interactive Library” made by our team, before “Anima Chatbotics” even existed. (Check “Interactive Library” below)

CyberGalaktioni is a “Digital Clone”, linguistic copy, simulacra of famous Georgian poet Galaktion Tabidze (1892 – 1959). Filled with his writings, diaries, poems and thus mimicking the poet’s linguistic style of writing/answering letters, etc. - one can experience something we call “digital spiritism”. The chatbot can answer any question about himself, his legacy and even discuss other topics. Using strong Narrative Design and  “Personality Capture” tricks mixed with clever algorithms CyberGalaktioni simulates a real Galaktioni and anybody can chat with a long-deceased Person as if He’s alive. Project is an experiment with two main sides:

  1. Can we transform a large amount of still data into an interactive structure, form of non-linear storytelling, thus “cybernetically reviving” an informational copy of a person? Simply, can we talk to the dead and let the dead speak?
  2. CyberGalaktioni has a strong Educational side: pupils, students, teachers use a chatbot for different purposes. (for example: Instead of searching through terabytes of writings of a poet for some specific information - one can directly ask a chatbot and get a quick answer. For teachers, it is a more effective way to introduce  poet to “digital native” children through this way, it is more entertaining and interesting for them, etc.)

Since it’s publishing on our old website we registered more than thousands of dialogues between digital clone of a poet and different people with different backgrounds and different professions - everybody has their own affection to CyberGalaktioni: some interested in his persona, some asks for advice, others just want to chat and feel “techno-magic”.

Right now “Anima Chatbotics” works on CyberGalaktioni Version 2.0 (with a help of his few still alive friends, researchers and prepares to publish it as a chatbot on Facebook messenger and Android/Ios Application)

Interactive Library

The idea of “Interactive Library” was to create an entirely new experience of a digital library, where instead of just passively reading a digitized text, One could actually talk to the text, discuss ideas with favorite characters. Creating an emotional chatbots for an “Interactive Library”  is an attempt to re-create the reading process as a new experience. The future book can be an alive, interactive “data organism”, more intimate and mutable in its nature, for every other user/reader. Imagine if you could communicate with your favorite author or a fictional character from any epoch or century - just using your laptop or phone. Wouldn’t that be a magical experience?

Creating a chatbot on the website was free. A lot of people created different types of chatbots from weak to medium. We started to work with popular local author Paata Shamugia within the project, he made a chatbot of his own and even offered jurnaists to take an interview from his interactive, digital copy.

For now, the “Interactive Library” is frozen, waiting to rise again.

Mox

Exciting Sci-Fi novel “MOX” by Dato Samniashvili, published in 2017 (“Sulakauri Publishing”) was a great, long-awaited comeback of this genre in Georgia. In short, The novel tells about an entire Virtual Universe, out of physical space-time dimensions and a Supercomputer which created this artificial heaven for creatures who long time ago were humans and contemplates what can go wrong if everything is so good.

In 2019, Dato (also Narrative Designer of “Anima Chatbotics”) decided to try a new approach to storytelling by creating a chatbot whos Personality is entirely based on his book’s character: SuperComputer. By doing this Dato expands the universe of his novel and gives readers a new experience to deep dive into a novel’s world and gives them a chance to actually talk to a book character transformed into an interactive digital organism.

Based on the chat-logs (database of conversations between chatbot and readers) Author monitors what are readers most interest, how he can improve his character based on incoming data and how to use it to incorporate this unique experience in other projects and improve other human-computer interactions.

Artifico

Artifico is a chatbot created for a project “New School Model” by the Ministry of Education. He is a part of an electronic art resource and helps third and fourth grade pupils to prepare or memorize lessons adapted to the curriculum. For example, if a child does not remember what he learned in the first lessons, he will no longer have to look for specific paragraphs in books, but can simply write an Artifico, that is always ready to help pupils and, most importantly, he learns from them himself.

Artifico is childrens’ best friend, so his spoken language is intended for children. He loves art, talking with children and learning new words from them. His dream is to create a work of art that no one has ever created. Artifico is a little chatbot, although he already knows a lot and is happy to lead kids into the magical world of art.

In addition, the project “New School Model” includes four more chatbots of the same concept. They are: Music chatbot, Natural Science Chatbot and one for Computer Science. The aim of the project is to provide elementary school children with modern forms of knowledge in order to make their educational process more informative and exciting.

Freeda

Freeda is a virtual assistant of Radio Free Europe. She was created approximately in ten days which is the shortest time for assembling a complex chatbot. At first, her main function was to assist users with chatbot hackathon organized by Radio Free Europe and Anima Chatbotics. She guided people who were interested in participating in hackathon and gave them all the information they needed about that.
Thereafter, Freeda has become a digital employee providing information about history and staff of radio. Besides, using radio's content she suggests different quizzes that are funny and cognitive.

It is noteworthy that Freeda has become the first chatbot in the world which talks about a new widespread virus (coronavirus). Because she is a media chatbot, Radio with Anima considered to disseminate the information based on reliable sources by using Freeda.

Freeda has a friendly tone of voice. She is smart, a little facetious and very communicative. Despite the fact that Freeda exists only six months, she already has many friends, and their number is increasing every day. It’s noticeable that based on chat-logs, she keeps updating.

Created on an engine developed by Anima Chatbotics.
